Privacy Policy

Who we are
Crab Island Radio is part of Crab Island Digital Media LLC, based in Destin, Florida. This policy explains what happens with information when you visit crabislandradio.rocks.
The short version
This website itself collects nothing from you. No accounts, no sign-ups, no cookies set by us, no analytics trackers. The one exception is The Crab List: sending a listing or review asks you to sign in (Google, Facebook, or Apple), so bots can't flood the list.
Information you send us
Contact form. Tapping Send opens your own email app with a pre-addressed message. That email travels like any email you send — it's between you and us, and we use it only to answer you.
The Crab List. Listing requests and reviews can be sent right on the Crab List page. Sending one asks you to sign in (Google, Facebook, or Apple — so bots can't flood the list); what you submit is stored in our database and reviewed by station staff before anything posts. Pirate Shop. Items featured on the Pirate Shop board come through the on-air call-in show. Anything you put on the air may be published on this site.
What runs in the background
Listen-live player. Pressing play connects you to our stream host. Stream hosts keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the stream running — we don't use those logs to identify you.
Hosting. The background video and these pages are served by our web host, which keeps its own standard server logs.
The Crab List database. Listings, reviews, and submissions live in Google Firebase. The sign-in provider you choose (Google, Facebook, or Apple) collects what its own privacy policy describes; Google's privacy policy covers the Firebase database itself.
Third-party links and embeds
The platform buttons, sponsor links, merch store, 360° tours, and social pages are run by other companies (Apple, Google, Meta, Shopify, CloudPano, and others). Their privacy policies apply once you follow those links or use their embeds.
Children
Crab Island Radio is family-friendly and this site is meant for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
When new features go live — like the station's mobile apps — this policy will be updated to describe exactly what they collect. The newest version will always be posted on this page.
